The name Sowella was inspired by the ancient Sowilo rune, a symbol of the sun, positive energy, health, and vitality. I shaped it into a feminine form - Sowella - because it reflects my vision: to share chocolate that not only satisfies your cravings, but also nourishes your body and lifts your spirit.

I grew up in the countryside, surrounded by food that was naturally “organic” long before the word became trendy. Fruits and vegetables from our garden were everyday staples, and from an early age I learned the difference between real, vibrant flavors and the dulled versions often found in supermarkets. I also witnessed the hard work and devotion that small family farms put into their harvests - care that shows in the quality of their food.

That upbringing shaped my belief that nature gives us everything we need. Real cacao - pure, minimally processed, and paired with just the right amount of natural sweetness - has the power to uplift, energize, and genuinely improve our mood. Chocolate can be both indulgent and nourishing.

That belief became the foundation of Sowella Chocolate.

Here, we use ethically sourced cacao and craft everything in small batches with care. All of our chocolates and bonbons are plant-based, gluten-free, and refined-sugar-free. We sweeten gently and naturally: coconut sugar for our chocolates and maple syrup for our ganaches and creams.

Why fully vegan? Because we want our chocolate to be enjoyed by everyone - vegans and non-vegans alike. High-quality treats should be accessible to all chocolate lovers.
